Position Statement: 
 (1) Change the orientation of APS Taipei chapter nature from academia based to include the industrial elements, which has become the trend of researches. 
(2) To incorporate with the domestic organizations in microwave area such as ROC Microwave Association and Taiwan EM Academia-Industry Consortium. 
(3) To expand the scope of IEEE activties with more international involvement. 
(4) To promote the elevation of Taiwan's position in the IEEE, including encouraging distinguished members to promote to Fellow grade. 
(5) To promote our distinguished members to become APS distinguished lecturers and Adcom members. 
(6) To Strengthen the relationship between universities and industries, and will promote the cooperation between them.
