IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society - Taipei Chapter

In the 2005 yearend, Taipei Chapter of Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society was founded. This increases the chapter count in Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society to 31 in 2005. IEEE Taipei Chapter has currently more than 40 members, including one Life Fellow, one Life Senior, eight Senior Members, and 30 Members. Taipei Chapter is attracting new members at all levels in a variety of sectors, including education universities and research institutions, technical colleges, and electrical and electronics industries. The specific goals of Taipei Chapter are participating in conferences, promotion IEEE GRSS activities and looking for the sources of partnerships, sponsorships, and corporations participate to support Taipei Chapter events.
