Workshop on Implementation and Application of FPGA-Based Control

   There were 40 people joining the 2010 Workshop on Implementation and Application of FPGA-Based Control, held in National Taipei University of Technology on June 15, 2010. Many valuable comments and suggestions with regard to the topics of the workshop have been discussed involving FPGA in industrial electronics and related applications which cover electronics, signal processing, microelectronics and instruments, etc. Several in-depth issues as to how industrial electronics and applications should be further developed, expecially in the filed of FPGA, were discussed. The workshop has demonstrated the important role of FPGA in industrial electronics and applications. The workshop invited two plenary speakers, Prof. Eric Monmasson of Cergy-Pontoise University and Mr. Wayne Chen of TeraSoft Inc. to present their recent development in theory and practical applications. As a whole, the workshop is quite fruitful and succeful.
